About the Doula

Hello, and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a DONA certified postpartum doula, certified labor doula, IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), and former EMT with a deep passion for caring for newborns and the families who love them.

My journey into this work began during my eight years in childcare, where I developed a special love for newborns and the transformative early days of family life. While supporting new parents, I consistently saw a gap in care. Families needed more education, reassurance, and hands on support once they were home. That realization inspired me to dedicate my work to nurturing families during this vulnerable and beautiful season.

As a highly trained lactation consultant, I have helped countless parents overcome feeding challenges and confidently reach their feeding goals. Whether you’re navigating exhaustion, feeding difficulties, recovery from a difficult delivery, or simply adjusting to life with a new baby, I’m here to offer calm, compassionate, and reliable support. You’ll receive care that is thoughtful, individualized, and grounded in both experience and evidence.

I believe deeply that no two families are the same, and no single care plan fits all. My services are tailored to your unique needs and include newborn care, maternal care, feeding support, light housekeeping, and more. I always take the time to truly get to know you, so together we can create a supportive plan that helps your family feel confident, cared for, and at ease.

It is an honor to walk alongside families during this precious time, and I would be honored to support yours as well.

Person Sleeping Peacefully

Overnight Care

Overnight care can be absolutely vital for exhausted families. While you sleep, I care for your infant through the night and respond to feeds on demand, keeping them happy and comforted, changing diapers, and ensuring they are safely settled back to sleep. As part of this service, I also handle cleaning bottles and pump parts, and baby laundry as needed, so you can wake up to a calmer, more supported morning.

This service is available to families within the first six months of baby’s arrival, with flexible scheduling that allows you to choose the frequency of overnight visits that best fits your needs. You can put your mind at ease knowing your baby is in trusted hands. Currently booking for mid-May 2026 at $35/hour.

Need some extra help postpartum? Daytime support offers compassionate, hands on care designed to nurture both you and your baby during this new season. During each visit, I provide attentive newborn care and education, maternal care, infant feeding support, and light housekeeping so you can rest, recover, and feel more confident as you settle into life with your little one.

This support is available to parents within the first six months of baby’s arrival, with visits typically lasting 3–5 hours. If you need more or less time, I’m happy to discuss flexible options. You can set the frequency of visits that works best for your family and enjoy peace of mind with care you can trust. *Currently booking March 2026 at $35/hour.

Free Consultation

Choosing postpartum support is a very personal decision, and this consultation offers a gentle way to get to know one another. During our Zoom meeting, we’ll take time to talk through your needs, hopes, and questions, and I’ll share more about my approach and the support I offer. This is a space to connect and see what feels right for your family.

Supporting new parents is at the heart of my work, and I deeply value making this process feel comfortable and accessible. Consultations are held on Zoom, allowing us to meet in a relaxed, low-pressure setting and have an open conversation together.

Maria was the biggest blessing to our family as we welcomed our daughter into the world in May! Maria was so helpful navigating the first few weeks and months postpartum and immediately put us at ease with her knowledge and care. As first time parents she helped us navigate all the newborn changes and was a phenomenal resource for us during the early weeks. She provided exceptional care for our daughter and our family, and we could not recommend her enough!

Thank you so much for everything, Maria! You helped us SO much. Your calm presence, especially right at the beginning, put us at ease and then your can-do attitude all the way through was so helpful! You anticipated our every need and we’re all so grateful for you! E. told me she misses you already! :)

Maria provided our family with invaluable care during the newborn period. Her calming presence was a welcome addition in the chaotic first weeks of parenthood. She was incredibly caring for my son and self-sufficient, which allowed me to get some rest knowing he was well taken care of. Additionally, every morning she would tidy up the house, make sure the laundry was clean, prepare some meals for us, and the dishes were done. I cannot recommend Maria enough to anyone with a newborn.

Thank you so much for everything that you did! You provided a truly incredible service, I’m not sure how I would have made it through those sleepless nights without you there. I will be recommending your services to those I know with babies in the future.
